Zewaho — CNC Building Kits

We're a group of makers who develop and share open-source DIY building kits made from plywood and fibreboard. We use two large-format CNC machines and a laser, which let us cut and engrave parts with high precision for a wide range of projects — from beehives, to mobile saunas, to modular timber buildings.

We publish our projects free to download, including full production data and instructions. Our goal is to show that with a Do It Yourself approach, anyone can build their own functional, affordable alternative to ready-made products. We build on the principles of digital fabrication, open-source design, and knowledge-sharing within the maker community.

What is Zewaho?

Zewaho stands for Zero Waste Home — a philosophy we carry into every one of our kits. We create open, freely available projects that anyone can download, modify, and make on their own CNC machine, or order as a ready-made set of parts.

We believe that open data sharing and modern digital fabrication can change the way not only houses, but also small structures and DIY projects, come to life.

How we build

We design everything digitally and manufacture it using two large-format CNC machines and a laser. Precise cutting minimises waste and ensures the material is used to its fullest.

Why zero waste?

Every piece of material matters. Smart design and optimised production help us minimise offcuts, and whatever's left finds a new use.

Zero waste isn't just a slogan to us — it's a way of thinking, from the first sketch to the last screw.

01Sale and rental of CNC woodworking machines

We offer access to state-of-the-art woodworking equipment, available for rent or purchase. Renting gives customers flexibility and minimises maintenance costs, while buying represents a long-term investment in the efficiency and quality of production processes.

02Operator training, CNC programming and retraining

We provide expert training to raise staff qualifications in CNC technology. This boosts productivity, reduces production errors, and strengthens the competitiveness of our clients.

03OPEN PLYWOOD SPACE: a woodworking hobby centre

OPEN PLYWOOD SPACE is an innovative space for woodworking projects, equipped with 3D printers, CNC routers, mitre and table saws, hand tools, and packing and strapping machines. We offer a complete solution from design to final packaging, ideal for hobby woodworkers, designers, and small manufacturers.

04Custom plywood manufacturing

We specialise in custom plywood manufacturing, offering individually tailored solutions that meet the specific requirements and ideas of our clients.

05Manufacturing and construction of small structures

We expand our clients' living or recreational space through the quality manufacturing and installation of small structures, such as saunas, api-cabins, garden houses, and tiny houses.

06Manufacturing of beehives and bee houses

We support sustainable beekeeping by providing quality beehives and bee houses that promote biodiversity and healthy bee colonies.

07Training — 3D design and modelling, data preparation for 3D printing and CNC production

We offer specialised training in 3D modelling and data preparation for 3D printing and CNC production — key skills for modern design and manufacturing. Our training increases participants' market value, opens up new possibilities in product design and prototyping, and streamlines production processes.
